Telling a difficult story the right way
Online safety remains a top priority. Greg’s Story is a deliberately simple animation—but every detail was carefully crafted. We focused on tone, mood, voice, and colour, stripping back unnecessary elements to create a minimal yet powerful film. The result is both visually striking and deeply impactful for public awareness and professionals.
From script to screen
This project required careful narrative development, scripting, and animation direction. We worked with Barnardo’s to refine every detail, ensuring Greg’s voice felt real and his journey was told with accuracy. The result was an animation that resonated while staying true to the campaign’s mission.
Collaboration at its core
The script is based on a real story, carefully adapted to work visually while staying true to its original message. Every element from subtle light flickers to the pacing of the narration was designed to be emotive.
A film that changes perceptions
Greg’s Story has been used across training, public awareness campaigns, and advocacy efforts, helping Barnardo’s highlight the need for support services. By tackling a complex issue with precision and emotional depth, Wind & Foster delivered a film that continues to make an impact today.
Watch the full film
Above, you’ve see clips from Greg’s Story, but the full impact comes from experiencing it with sound. Finding the right voiceover artist was crucial. We needed someone who could convey both the naivety and the trauma of Greg’s journey. Watch the film now to hear Greg’s story in his own words.
Standing with Barnardo’s
Barnardo’s tackles some of the toughest and most heartbreaking challenges facing children today. Communicating these issues, especially subjects as complex as child exploitation and abuse, is never easy. It requires sensitivity and precision. We’re proud to support Barnardo’s in bringing these stories to light, helping them reach the people who need to hear them most.
